A superb cello bow by DOMINIQUE PECCATTE (1810-1874)
Weight: 79 grams

This extraordinary, all-original Peccatte bow was previously owned by a principal cellist of a leading American orchestra. The bow has the full range of outstanding playing and tonal qualities one expects from the master’s finest work: ample weight, astonishing range of color and nuance, and exceptional strength. The tip is a handsome example of the maker’s elegant swan-head style.
